I started reading Archangels and Earthangels which is, according to its authors, an inspiring handbook on spiritual helpers in the metaphysical and earthly spheres.  The most amazing thing is that I still do not understand the title let along the subject of the book.

On the positive side, the authors did speak to me in their section "What if You Don't Believe."  Well, I am a skeptic by nature so I guess you could classify me as a non-believer.  So I continued to read.  They have a few good comparison like stars also shine in the daytime but we can not see them because the sun is so bright.  The analysis works on why we can not hear our inner voice, because our rational mind is so strong.

So how does this book and its theories lead you to heightened spiritual state.   My goal was to recreate the state that I was in when I was running through the monuments in Washington DC during a rain storm.  There was no people on the streets and the traffic was sparse.  I felt in touch with nature and a connection with the history of our country.  It was an amazing feeling.

The recommended course of action was to choose cards for the proper choice of Archangel and Earthangel oil.  I found out that the treatments last about 4 weeks.  I will let you know this turns out.
